Served daily in the elegant surroundings of The Foyer, beneath the shimmering Dale Chihuly chandelier, our afternoon tea is a journey through the finest flavours, textures, and traditions that British hospitality has to offer.
Our Head Pastry Chef draws inspiration from the seasons, crafting a menu that changes throughout the year to showcase the freshest ingredients and most inventive techniques. Each tier of the iconic silver stand tells its own story: delicate finger sandwiches filled with smoked salmon, coronation chicken, and cucumber with cream cheese on the first tier; warm, freshly baked scones served with Cornish clotted cream and seasonal preserves on the second; and on the top tier, an array of miniature patisserie that blurs the line between dessert and art.
The tea selection itself is a connoisseur's delight. Our Tea Sommelier has curated a collection of over thirty rare and single-estate teas from the world's most prestigious gardens β from first-flush Darjeeling to hand-rolled oolong from the mountains of Taiwan. Each pot is brewed to precise specifications, ensuring that the character and complexity of every leaf is fully expressed.

Afternoon Tea at Claridge's is served daily from 2:45pm to 5:30pm. We recommend reserving your table at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred time. Smart casual attire is appreciated, and we kindly ask that gentlemen refrain from wearing shorts or sportswear in The Foyer.
